This Vanilla WoW Blacksmithing guide can help you from 1 to 300 Blacksmithing. With a little patience, you should be level 300 Blacksmithing in no time!
Let’s start off with the materials needed for leveling to 300.

Materials

Now that we have all of the materials, these are the things you need to craft to reach 300 Blacksmithing. Some skills turn yellow before hitting the desired level and the numbers may be off by a point or two due to good/bad luck.

20 x Rough Sharpening Stone = 20 x Rough Stone

Blacksmithing 25-45

20 x Rough Sharpening Stone = 40 x Rough Stone – all yellow

Blacksmithing 45-65

20 x Rough Sharpening Stone = 40 x Rough Stone – all yellow

Go to Gadgetzan, Tanaris, and take the quest:
– [60] A Blue Light Bargain (requires 10 x Thorium Bar)
requires 10 x Thorium Bar
and then
– [60] Imperial Plate Bracer (requires 20 x Thorium Bar)
so you can get [Plans: Imperial Plate Bracers]

8 x [Imperial Plate Bracers] = 160 x Thorium Bar + 8 x Star Ruby

Blacksmithing 291-300

5 x [Thorium Helm] = 120 x Thorium Bar + 5 x Star Ruby + 20 x Yellow Power Crystal
OR
5 x [Thorium Boots] = 100 x Thorium Bar + 40 x Rugged Leather + 20 x Green Power Crystal
