Welcome to our PVP Enhancement Shaman guide for WoW WotLK. This guide will show you what you need to know to play the Shaman class as Enhancement. If you follow this build you should be king of the arena in no time!

Talents

This first build is a max dps build.

This second build is a Survivability build. This is a good build if you don’t have great PvP gear.

This third build is a support build. This build works best with (Enhance shaman + Arms Warr + Holy Pally/Resto Druid.

Glyphs

Major Glyphs

• Stormstrike
• Feral Spirit
• Stoneclaw Totem
• Healing Wave – adds sustainability to your party. (If playing without a healer)

Minor Glyphs

• Ghost Wolf
• Water Breathing
• Astral Recall

Gems

Gems can change based on your build, equipment and caps. You may need to adjust your gems to account for your gear.

• Meta: Relentless Earthsiege Diamond
• Red: Bright Cardinal Ruby
• Blue: Shifting Dreadstone or Stormy Majestic Zircon  (if you need spell pen)
• Yellow: Mystic King’s Amber or Quick King’s Amber

Persistent Earthsiege Diamond May be viable if you are playing an Orc and want to combine this with the racial passive for even further improved stun duration reduction.

Enchants

You may need to adjust your enchants based on your gear but these are the standard enchants.

• Head: Arcanum of Triumph
• Shoulder: Inscription of Triumph
• Back: Spell Piercing
• Chest: Exceptional Resilience
• Bracers: Greater Assault
• Gloves: Crusher or Precision
• Waist: Eternal Belt Buckle
• Legs: Icescale Leg Armor
• Boots: Tuskarr’s Vitality
• Main-hand weapon: Berserking
• Off-hand weapon: Titanium Weapon Chain
• Shield: Resilience

You should be using either Totem of Quaking Earth or Totem of the Avalanche  though keep in mind Totem of the Avalanche can lower your DPS output if you lose stacks during a stun/fear.

Stat Priority

1. Spell Penetration (75+, 135 max)
2. Hit (262 max)
3. Haste (10% or more)

Rotation

Rotation

You should be dual wielding, it’s much higher DPS.

Windfury Weapon should be on your main-hand and Flametongue Weapon on your off-hand.

Enhance has a very complicated rotation but after a while you get used to it.

• At 5 stacks of Maelstrom Weapon cast Lightning Bolt.
• Cast Magma Totem.
• Use Stormstrike and Lava Lash  after Maelstrom Weapon.
• Keep the Stormstrike debuff up on the target all the time.
• Use Flame Shock on the target if you haven’t already.
• Use Earth Shock if you have already used Flame Shock.
• Refresh Lightning Shield  at 1 to 3 stacks.
• Fire Nova when everything else is on cooldown.

Both Feral Spirit and Shamanistic Rage should be used every time they are off cooldown.
